About Me

I inherited a unbalanced nervous system then spent 2 decades making it worse by working as a baby-nurse to the rich and famous waking with newborn babies every 2-3 hours every night - something we are only built to do for a few months at a time. So like most new mothers I was in a perpetual state of exhaustion.

I've worked to unravel the damage through many kinds of trainings: yoga teacher trainings, bowen therapy training, reiki and more, I've learned a lot by making mistakes. It takes work for me to be embodied and as such I have the necessary steps and knowledge and that informs every class I teach.  Add to that a collection of injuries & postpartum depression -  I was a mess.


Now I have NO PAIN, I’m strong & most importantly -  I AM EMBODIED. Every week someone tells me that a cue they received from me changed the way they do something they’ve done for years & how much better it feels. 

YOGA NIDRA & RESTORATIVE YOGA

After decades of searching it was the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra that started my nervous system toward -rest & digest. You can find many Yoga Nidra’s under the RELAXATION playlist. When you’re feeling tired, cranky, strung out or reaching for sweets mid afternoon - try a Yoga Nidra. For many the practice of Restorative Yoga can also support the state of Rest & Digest.

It takes mindfulness to relax especially when your nervous system is used to being in a trauma response which sadly many of us live in. Meditations can feel too hard - they did for me, even with a brilliant mother who teachers meditation.

I personally view YOGA NIDRA & guided relaxations as an accessible doorway into healing. All you need to do is lay down ,close your eyes & listen. 

Same thing goes with SOUND, as science and technology expands we are learning more and more about how sound can heal. 

BREATH is a powerful tool that, although is an ancient technique used by yogis (pranayama), I believe there is so much more it can offer us and that there are teachers who are leading the way in this field. 


My goal for this space is to introduce people to these practices and teachers. 

I have always been that person who introduces others. I want these teachings and opportunities accessible to more people.
